match starts 8oclock pakistan local time as the host won the toss and elected to bat first. pakistan take wickets regularly as the host 41/4 . but then thiramanne and kulasekera played brilliantly for their 30 and 15 respectively made some sort of comfort for the home team. As the host posted a very small total for the pakistanis.
For pakistanis saeed ajmal tanvir gul picked up two two wickets each.restricted the host to a total of 124. pakistan team are very happy for their good show in the bowling and are keen to win the 1st t-20.
pakistan start their innings well but lankans came back strongly and took three crucial wickets for their team. pakistan then went on to lose the match by 37 runs. The main contributor for the lankans were mathews and malinga picking up three wickets each. pakistan bowled out for just 95 runs. manof the match perera for his 32 runs and took 1 wicket. Srilanka going 1-0 up in the two match series.
